Senior Congress Leader, State General of party and MLA Bandipora Usman Majid said that Congress Party is the only unifying force, which representing aspirations of all the three regions in true sense. Usman asserted that it is the Congress Party alone which is representing the aspirations of the people fully and will continue to work for the equitable development of all the three regions. Usman said it, While Welcoming, Majid Hussain Mir Prominent PDP Activist along with their Supporters of PDP and NC into Party Fold from Buduaab Tulail area of Gurez Segement. Majid hailed him and Welcomed him into Party Fold. Majid said Congress stands for unity, brotherhood and amity of the three regions of the State and various sections of the society. Welcoming the new entrants into party Usman Majid expressed hope that newly joined workers would work with enthusiasm and energy to give fillip and will spread the policy programme of the Congress. Usman Majid welcomed them and asked them to strengthen the party and work for the betterment of the area. Elaborating on his decision to quit the party, Majid Hussain Mir said the ruling party was playing with the lives of Kashmiri people and with their dignity and honour. “This is the reason that I have resigned from the party and joined the Congress,” He along with other Newly Entrants praised the contribution of Congress Party in the socio-economic transformation of the Erstwhile in particular and State in general, saying the party has been pioneer in implementing revolutionary programmes aimed at improving the conditions of the people, especially those living in remote and backward areas.
